Kunduz Fine rugs are hand knotted by Turkmens in northern Afghanistan, although, in some cases, they can be knotted in Pakistan by Turkmens who have moved across the border. Kunduz Fine rugs traditionally have the Gül (Elephant’s Foot) pattern. The rugs are very durable, and are, in terms of quality, the best Afghan rugs available.
